On October 20th the Brewster Fire Dept. along with the New Fairfield Fire Dept. Hosted a multi- dept forcible entry training class. This class combines classroom discussion with Hands On repetition to reinforce the basic tenants of forcible entry. Deputy Chief Jamie Gagliardo, February 21
Recently Mike Ercole, Deputy Chief and Past President of the Putnam Lake Fire Department, suffered a medical emergency which has forced him to be under special care at Yale New Haven Hospital in the ICU. Mike is considered to be in critical but stable condition at this time. Mike’s wife Danielle and family are by his side.

Putnam Lake Fire Dept 2017 Live Burn Training

On September 26, 2017 the Putnam Lake Fire Department completed their annual 2017 Live Fire training evolutions at the Putnam County Training Facility. Members put in many hours and hard work in extreme conditions in order to make sure that they are up to date on their fire fighting skills.
