SEARCH AND RESCUE IN BREWSTER

Thursday August 20th the Putnam Lake Fire Department along with 25 other police, fire and EMS agencies aided the Putnam County Sherriff's office in a search for a missing 16 year old male reported missing since Saturday August 15th.  The Village of Brewster was thouroughly searched with negative results.  The search was called off at approximately 1700hrs with no sign of the missing male.  Later that evening a Putnam County corrections officer positively identified the missing male in the jail, he was there since Sunday the 16th on a weapons charge under a fake I.D.
