this engine/ pumper is used as a source truck that delivers water to the scene of an incident or fills tankers as part of a tanker shuttle.  This engine is a 1981 American LaFrance with a 1500 GPM dual stage hale pump.  This truck carries 3000 feet of 5" large diameter hose.  This truck is powered by a Detroit Diesel.  A unique part of this truck is that it is one of the few American LaFrance Engines built without a water tank.
